AcuHouse Wellness Clinic respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
When you request an appointment, we collect your name and phone number, the treatment and time you choose, whether you have visited before, and anything you choose to share: your email address and what you would like help with.
How we use it
We use this information to call you, confirm your appointment and prepare for your visit. We do not sell your information. Requests are stored in our booking system and sent to the clinic's email, and they are seen only by clinic staff and the service providers that host our website and email.
Website measurement
We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, to understand how visitors use this site. If we run Google Ads, we also measure whether an ad led to a booking request. We do not send your name, phone number, email or health details to Google for this purpose.
Videos from Instagram load from Instagram when you choose to play them, and fonts on this site load from Google.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Health records are handled and kept as required by Ontario law and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please share only what is needed in the booking form. You can call us instead if you prefer.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct your information, ask questions about how it is handled, or withdraw your consent, subject to any legal requirements to keep records. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
